The Children’s School is an independent primary school and has attracted and retained a cadre of highly skilled teachers over the years. A nonprofit organization, the school is governed by a board of trustees. It has been approved by the Connecticut Department of Education and accredited by the Connecticut Association of Independent Schools. It is a member of the National Association of Independent Schools.
