Welcome to The Children’s School!

Located in North Stamford, Connecticut, The Children’s School has been a nationally recognized leader in early learning for more than 50 years. We consider it our privilege to serve children ages 3 to 8, a period that is critical for a child’s intellectual, social and emotional development. Our classrooms offer a rich, stimulating, orderly environment in which children find joy and purpose in learning.

As educators of young children, we understand the many elements needed to help our students thrive. For this reason, the school takes not only a whole-child but also a whole-family approach, welcoming parents into the life of the school with visiting speakers and social events designed to support their parenting.

Our website gives an overview of the school’s approach, program and traditions, although I encourage you to visit the campus and observe the teachers and children in action.
